## Appendix A: Volunteer Code of Conduct
> **1. Respect for Others**
>> Volunteers must treat all individuals with dignity and respect, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.

> **2. Professionalism**
>> Volunteers are expected to maintain a high standard of professionalism at all times, representing the values of La Maison Entre Familles in their actions and behavior.

> **3. Confidentiality**
>> Volunteers must maintain confidentiality about sensitive information encountered during their volunteering duties, including client details, staff matters, and organizational operations.

> **4. Non-Discrimination**
>> Volunteers must refrain from discrimination or harassment of any kind, whether based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.

> **5. Substance Use**
>>Volunteers are prohibited from being under the influence of alcohol, illegal drugs, or any substances that impair their ability to perform volunteer duties safely.

> **6. Stealing**
>> Theft or the unauthorized taking of any property, materials, or funds belonging to La Maison Entre Familles or its clients is strictly prohibited. Volunteers found guilty of theft will have their volunteer status terminated immediately and may face legal action.

>> Volunteers should resolve disputes and conflicts respectfully, seeking assistance from staff if necessary.
